Catalan Responsible Tourism Awards
Mediterranean cruises, skiing and adventure trips, weekend breaks in rural guest houses, walking tours, and a week’s holiday by the beach, all these forms of tourism and many others can be more responsible. They can be more responsible where thoughtful actions are taken to reduce their negative impacts and increase their benefits, not just to the business, but also to the local community, environment and the palce being enjoyed by tourists. It is this effort to make a difference that the first Catalan Responsible Tourism Awards seek to recognise and reward, demonstrating to others that better tourism is possible.
